It took five hours of last-minute, Christmas Eve Day knitting, but I finished it! Another Koolhaas for Snowboarder.

I think I promised to give this to him before Sock Camp in April. Then before Sock Summit. Then after Sock Summit. Then I think he just gave up. Once in awhile he would refer to the girlfriend who used to knit hats for him. He was totally surprised!! A perfect Christmas gift!

Yay for Snowboarder! Girl, whew, you sure knit like the wind on it! Got a chuckle about the "girlfriend that used to knit him hats ;)"
Wait, didn't he get some other hats in between? Hee.
Merry Christmas to you, Snowboarder & your families!
I soo love that hat. I really need to buy the pattern...you sure got it nice and snug for him. Hmph...I need to learn your sizing trick! My Biker friends want tighter hats.
Such a nice hat he looks very happy
with his Christmas gift:)Hugs Darcy
The hat looks great on him! Clearly, you waited until Christmas because the weather would be perfect for a nice hand-knit hat.
Wishing you and Snowboarder a merry Christmas. And your families, furry and otherwise.
That really is a great hat.
Yea for Snowboarder. Yea for the girlfriend who came through at the end - surprise gifts are always the best and that hat looks fabulous. g
Nice! I'll take your word it was cold....the sun and palm trees juxtaposed with a warm hat had me confused ;-)
What a gorgeous hat - lucky BF!! And a nice and thoughtful GF!
Well done! Grace under pressure. I would have crossed my crosses backwards or something. Looks great.
Happy holidays!
Hope your Christmas was wonderfully blessed!!
BTW - love your Courage pattern for that great theme package by WG :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
snowboarder looks handsome in his new hat!
Wow... I'm impressed!! That was quite some last-minute knitting. Great picture of the two of you too!
Wow, way to whip that last-minute gift out! And so beautifully, too!
