Monkey Mayhem!

MonkeyFriends

Rosie and her friends, both old and new. Seriously, who would have thought you could have this much fun making sock monkeys!

MonkeyLoveBefore

Well, I'm pretty sure Debbi knew we would have that much fun! It is her incredible pattern after all. This is her before.....

MonkeyLove

....and after we covered her with monkey love!! (see Rosie in her arm, how can you miss those botoxed red lips!)

MeandCockeyed

Debbi certainly played a big role in me going to camp this year and I am so glad I got to hang out with her all week! I can not say enough about how wonderful she and all the sockateers are! I miss her already! Here's her original Funky Sock Monkey in the picture above. The pattern is written for a large monkey like this one and a small monkey (like the ones that you've been seeing around!).

The pattern should be available soon on the Blue Moon website, but I thought one of you lucky readers might not be able to wait so I bought an extra pattern at camp! Let me know if you are interested in the sock monkey pattern in the comments below and I'll pick a random winner this week!

Contest closes Thursday at 6pm PST.

Happy Knitting!!

xoxo Irishgirlieknits

Looks and sounds like a fabulous time at sock camp! I'm jealous! Love the monkeys and would love to be entered in the contest. That is very generous of you!

Totally jealous....

My knitting friends and I couldn't go to sock camp because it hit during our kid's spring break--we had planned to go...but when the dates were posted we were SO disappointed. I could knit little sock monkies to cheer both of them up.

Besides...if you pick me you won't have to pay postage....I'll come pick it up! (I'm in Menlo Park). (shameless plug)
