You think Speed Skating is fast...

Have you met Lil' Guy! I'm spending the weekend with him while his mom and dad have fun in Mexico!

so fast

It just means I've needed to be creative with my Olympic Knitting!

Doesn't everyone knit on blankets at the bounce house?

Lil' Snowboarder was a great help with Lil' Guy! He just loves her to bits and will do whatever she's doing (including...sleeping in!! well, til at least a reasonable hour). Of course, I've also had to explain to Lil' Snowboarder that, no, the blanket is not for her. She thinks I'm kidding though.

Okay, back to knitting. Must take full advantage of naptime.

Oh, and by the way. Curling. Really? Watched it this morning while Lil' Guy played with his cars. Interesting. But I kept wanting to say, really?

Happy Weekend!

HA HA HA! Looks like a fanstastic place to knit. Built in babysitter - and pooper-outer. You can knit while the kids have fun and get tired.

I WANT to appreciate curling. I WANT to believe it's athletic.

Great blanket, hmmm now how do you not give her this wonderful blanket? Maybe she'd like a new scarf or hat for her active little life?

Bounce house, park, swimming pool, dance stuido, chess tourment, waiting in the pick up line, basketball court and even back of the class room while listening to book reports. All perfect opportunities to knit and to gather a few more curious looks for my collection.

The blanket looks great!
