The Goods

As promised....

Malabrigo Cotton

Malabrigo 100% Organic Cotton

Love love love. I bought it from Imagiknit's booth at the Maker Faire. All the colors were lovely. Tapmouse helped me pick these two colorways to make a little baby something for the many babies I'll be knitting for soon!

Parry Hotter

Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock, colorway Parry Hotter

I couldn't resist this colorway, exclusive to Noe Knit. I figure if times get tough, I'll just knit the socks and sell them to my sister :) hehehe

Le Cerf, 100% English wool

These last three skeins though are probably my favorite, and not just because they were free :) Last week was quite a hectic work week and Snowboarder surprised me with these three pretties Monday night! He had picked them up for me over the weekend just because! He's got good taste in yarn that guy :)

Now I think its time for some Stashbusting!!

ETA: Rosie was on the Yarn Harlot's blog today!! Hmmm....maybe I should make a celebratory STR purchase??!!! Just teasing! Kinda

I love the way LL rips off the Harry Potter name..very clever. Because you know she'll sue your ass if you try to cramp her style.

And malabrigo makes cotton? I'm in heaven!

Love the malabrigo cotton. Wonderful! And it looks like Snowboarder is definitely a keeper. A guy that buys you great yarn? Wow. That's something you don't see everyday!

Wish LL had that yarn back when I was conducting all my Harry Potter Sock Swaps. Amazing! And, I too think it is a hoot that they switched the first letter of the colorway name. I was a little concerned J.K.R. would discover what the world of knitters has done...

Malabrigo Cotton! Cool!

You know, I saw Malabrigo Cotton on WEBS the other day, and I wondered. It looks very nice--you'll have to let us know how it knits up!

*gasp!* Malabrigo now makes cotton, too? I think my heart just skipped a beat.

That Snowboarder-what a doll! When I first saw those three skeins I thought, "HEY!-I didn't see her get *those* skeins of yarn on Saturday!!!" So now I know...*that* explains it!

You do know he bought those for you thinking that you could make 3 more hats for him to model on the blog right?

I didn't know Malabrigo made cotton. I'm going to be on the hunt for it now though.

You scored some great yarns and Snowboarder rocks!
