I've fallen head over heels for my new sock.
I started it late Sunday night and haven't put it down since. Yes, I love the yarn (Socks that Rock, lightweight, color Blue Moonstone).
But I think its the pattern that I love. It is my most complicated sock pattern to date, but its moving right along!! The pattern is Trickle by the very talented Nathania Apple. I've had the pattern for awhile but when I saw the new BMFA ad in Interweave Knits featuring the sock it gave me a reminder to start it. I was good and resisted ordering Mochaberry to knit it out of and used some stash yarn! But when this is done, I'm soooooo rewarding myself with some Mochaberry!
We'll see how much progress I make on these on my quick work trip to New Orleans this weekend!
Happy Knitting!

Wow, what a beautiful pattern! It looks great with that yarn choice as well. Can't wait to see a finished pair!
That's pretty! And that mochaberry is too--it's the color of unroasted coffeebeans...cool!
I love the yarn too! But you are right that pattern is wonderful too. the Mochaberry will be a great reward.
Hope you have a great trip this weekend!
Is that Nathania from purlescence? How cool!
And, also, is that Mochaberry that you got at Stitches. Remember, that last skein I spotted for you? That must mean there are new colours available on the website, right?
You really need to give me a heads up on these things - be my enabler ;0)
p.s. the sock and the yarn are both GORGEOUS.
They are really beautiful! It's a nice color, too - and a stash buster! WHoohooooo! Well, technically, does it count if you're planning to replace it? I mean, it's not like you're getting the same color. . .
Oh my gosh they are beautiful! Irishgirlie you have ruined me:) I have moonstone, mochaberry and trickle coming to me any day now:)
I must focus though and finish up that ISE scarf first he he...
I love the Blue Moonstone! Your socks are gorgeous!!!
You are just a little enabler aren't you? LOL!!!
Beautiful sock pattern. I love lacy socks - they are such a treat to wear because you know that no else will have them (unless they knit them!). The color is gorgeous...I just got 3 colorways from Socks that Rock and can't wait to knit with the yarn.
That's some gorgeous sock start you've got going there! I can see why you love it!
Beautiful pattern! The sock looks so good too :)
Have a good trip!
As I said on Rav, you're killin' me with all these new socks.
Love it in Blue Moonstone. Was going to do my version like the Pond Scum one at Camp, but I already have a couple very complex greenish socks made already. Hmmm, maybe purple...
These are another beauty! You rock!
That is a beautiful pattern!
Oh, I hate you! I have had this pattern since last year's camp and still haven't knit it yet!!! I so want to make this one (but alas, I have too many other things on the needles currently!)
Good job! Love the Moonstone in the Trickle!
Very pretty!
beauiful -- the yarn shows off the pattern nicely!
oooh, and the light shaded solid makes the sock!
I think you've earned that Mochaberry!
i do lust after your perpetual awesome socks.
I'm in love with the Blue Moonstone too. Do you have Barney Rubble? Put them together and oooooooh.
Love the pattern.
The yarn and the pattern are perfect for one another. No wonder you love them.
I love that pattern! So pretty, and the blue is perfect for it.
You definitely should reward yourself for knitting from stash -- I rewarded myself with some sock yarn just yesterday. For knitting from stash, no less. It's a perfectly good reason to buy more yarn, I tell you.
