Happy 1st Day of Summer!

Do you know what that means?

76 more days until Notre Dame's opening game against San Diego St.

Fetchings

please excuse gratuitous Lil' Guy football photo, its one of my faves!

Summer of Socks '08 officially begins!

Spring Forward

I cast on a pair of Spring Forward socks! Its been 41 days since I last cast on a new sock....I was getting antsy! I'm using STR lightweight in Mist.

February Rocks

No worries. I have not abandoned my Lady. She's Rockin'!

What did the first day of summer mean for you?

Happy Summer

Aww...cute kid, great knitting...My first day of summer meant lots of yard and house work to get ready for our annual week at camp...with 130 Junior Highers! Off to the craziness tomorrow.

Happy Summer!! I hope you are having summer-like climate over there. It is absolutely pouring rain on this side of the pond!!!

Lovin' the "lady"! It is coming along beautifully. For me, the first day of summer was yet another wedding. 4 down, 1 to go!

Aw sweet little fella! How did I sleep through signing up for Summer of Socks?! :) I can't wait for more of the February Sweater - it is coming up on my queue! Yours is gorgeous - love that color!

Hooray! New socks!

The sweater is looking mighty fine. Is it a fun knit? It really does look good!

PS. Summer day - in a moment of insanity I let my kids each pick a friend for a sleep over. One group is up this morning at 7:30 playing Star Wars and demanding breakfast. yawn. what was I thinking.

I love the little FIghting Irish Helmet hat! Very cute.

I love how the sweater looks. I may have to copy you and make one. How many skeins did you get?

The Lady looks awesome. I love the colour and the pattern and everything. I hope you're trying it on as you go so you can get a great fit - gotta wear that one, it's so pretty.

And Mist. Gorgeous. How is the spring forward pattern? I need to get myself a sock on the needles. I'm put off because I wanted to knit Tommy the next pair of socks - the skein has been wound and sitting on the end table for weeks now!!!

The first day of summer is depressing. It means less light gained. I know that really doesn't apply here in the Lower 48, but living for 21 years in Alaska where it does...I just can't shake the feeling.

Glad to see we're not the only ones counting down to our teams football game too! ha ha!

The Mist looks great in Spring Foward! Nice choice.

Love how the grown up Feb sweater is looking.

So does that mean that you have 76 days to knit Littly Guy another ND hat?

Lil' Guy pic - TOOO cute! I love his "helmet"!

Let's see, yesterday was the first day of summer? I spent most of it on the couch resting because I stayed up until 3am the night (morning?) before watching Meerkat Manor, which I'd never seen before. Then later I did some knitting and beat Hubster's ass at Scrabble. Ah, summer...

I think it is so funny that you know exactly how many days it has been since you cast on for your previous paid of socks!

The first day of summer for me meant mad organizing so I could dog-sit Caddie (an elderly chocolate lab).

My first day of summer involved more gardening and my 1st strawberry. It was wonderful.
