More Sock Summit Goodies!

I'm still trying to find space in my stash for some of my new sock summit goodies! One of my new books, Toe-Up! by Chrissy Gardiner, I just love and have had it out all week!

Did you know that the lovely Neuroknitter did all the photography in the book?

Gail and Me

Autograph please? :)
That's right! I got her autograph :)

Chrissy's socks are gorgeous, but combined with Neuroknitter's photography....well, its absolute perfection!! I just love looking at the pictures! Here's my favorite....

I even have some lovely Plucky Knitter Superwash in the colorway Pumpkin Latte that will work perfectly! Oh, pumpkin....is it fall yet?!

Well, as you'll see from these next few goodies, my new stash feels like fall! I can't blame Neuroknitter for these acquisitions entirely, but we certainly enabled each other as we shopped the Marketplace at Sock Summit!

Wool Candy..yum
Wool Candy, Meringue Merino Sock, colorway Microbrew (can you just see the post Neuroknitter is going to do with this colorway... oh yes, she got this colorway too!!)

Hazel Knits
Hazel Knits, a limited edition sock summit colorway....love!!

Brian Rose Fibers
And Briar Rose Fibers. A gorgeous skein of Grandma's Blessing. I just can't wait to knit this up!

I tried to stick with unique yarns that I had not yet tried or with colorways that I was going to knit up soon! No more sitting in the stash forever....or at least that's the hope! I still have a few purchases left to show you, but we'll save that for another day!

Here's to a happy weekend!! This will be my first weekend sleeping in my own bed both nights since the first weekend in July!! I've loved all my summer travels, but sometimes, its just good to be home. I'm actually looking forward to cleaning and organizing a bit. And knitting. Lots of knitting.

Happy Knitting!!
xoxo Irishgirlieknits

I know how you feel. We were supposed to go camping this weekend but I just couldn't face packing and being gone again.

Wow, I love that pumpkin colorway- I do love fall colors! I also love Neuroknitter's photography, but perhaps I ought to pop on over and tell her so on her blog!

I still stand by my toe-up-free lifestyle choice, but that book looks lovely nonetheless. mmmmmm...pumpkin!!!!!!!!!

You got some awesome stuff! I love seeing the fibers that I haven't heard of because it means that there is so much more fun to be discovered. I'm curious to see the Chrissy Gardiner book but haven't stumbled upon one yet. And I absolutely LOVE the Hazel Knits limited edition! Soooo pretty :-)

Ooooh! That yarn is to die for. And I want that book in the worst way. Now, I want to move to the West Coast. All the fun knitting stuff seems to happen over there.

That microbrew is like autumn colored yarn, but all grown-up. I absolutely love it. It's so nice to see pics of you gals! All this bloggin' and knittin' and talkin' and sometimes putting faces to our words.

Welcome home!

Couldn't agree with you more about Chrissy Gardiner's book. I think it is an "instant classic", and a must-have for sock knitters. The pretty, sophisticated patterns are just icing on the technical cake!

Wow! Nice colors. I love all of your pictures and stories about the sock summit!!! I wish I could visit it! Knitting is getting quit popular in the Netherlands but not nearly as popular as in the US. I've been to several places and on several campsites in France but I haven't seen anyone knitting for over 3 weeks! I was the only one and some people seemed to look at me with compassion!?!

The Plucky yarn will be so perfect for the Candelabra socks!! Can't wait to see them! Yay almost fall!!! :) :) :)

Your new stash is lovely!!
