A Perfect Weekend

One that was not scheduled, nor filled with to-do lists, without traveling, without events. Just a relaxing weekend. And just what I needed.

It is amazing how much you can accomplish in a weekend sometimes.

I finished the first sock of a new design.

I figured out how to skype and caught up with Knittinggolfer.

I got a pedicure. It is spring!

I enjoyed an evening walk Friday with Lil' Snowboarder and Snowboarder to pizza dinner, the bookstore, and then ice cream.

Lil' Snowboarder had her first sleepover at my house. Just girls. I made homemade pancakes the next morning.

I blogged. Twice (well, yes. I am counting this pictureless post as a post).

I roasted veggies and grilled chicken for the week ahead. Healthy eating is a bit easier that way.

I watched New Moon.

Hey, its an easy movie to knit too. No judgement.

And I knit some more.

I also made a mental list of all the must-knits and want-to knits. That will be tomorrow's post. Along with some yarn pictures.

How was your weekend? Hope it was great!

I knit to New Moon too! :) The weekend sounds like it was perfect - if only it weren't Monday - groan.

I agree with Peaknits. If only it wasn't Monday!

I relaxed and knit much of the weekend. Took two walks because the weather is finally springlike. Celebrated my Mom's 74th birthday!

You had my idea of a good weekend. Weekends seem to have gotten very busy. I need to make a concentrated effort to spend one at home!

That sounds like a great weekend! I went to a hockey tourney, slept late on Sunday, read some, watched New Moon, and knit. Today it's back to reality!

Started with a pedi too :0). Then broke the Lenten fast at our community Spring Fling party - lots of fun.
Knit some socks too :0)
you sound like you are having fun too :0)

Nice weekend! I still haven't seen Twilight yet... not judging, just haven't gotten around to it. I'd rather watch NCIS reruns for the 6th time, which says more about my NCIS fetish than the Twilight saga...

Yay for perfect weekends!

Yay for New Moon and limoncello for camp! How many sleeps? (Oops, keep forgetting about that homework.)

Your weekend sound like fun, and you got stuff done, too. What more can one ask for? I'm not into TWilight, but not judging others...lol...I watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with my son....so no, no judging here!
