18 days to knit my little sister a shawl for her wedding. I can do it, right? Technically I wanted a new shawl for me too, but I think I need to get this one done first.
Oh, and this will be my first ever knit with actual lace weight yarn. I'm up for the challenge, I think. Afterall, it is 100% silk. The only other time I knit with lace I doubled it for this cowl. After reading that old blog entry, now I want to make that cake too :) Back to the shawl....

You know, I love your patterns, but that simple 1 x 1 cowl in the old post is really speaking to me! I feel a spell of car knitting coming on . . .
6 months notice of an upcoming wedding gave me a heavy dose of anxiety. I couldn't do what you're doing. Good luck! Knit like the wind!
I have faith in you. That's yummy AVFKW yarn you're working with and it'll be such a great gift! I can't wait to see it all finished!
