And the stash keeps growing....

I could say it was only because I won a skein of yarn!

Look at this pretty pretty skein of Wool Candy that I won in a Bobbin's Nest Studios (one of our LYS) contest! Thank you!! They are now carrying this gorgeous yarn.... its local, how could they not carry it!

I then couldn't resist trying a skein of the sportweight, Wool Candy Fondant Merino.

Neuroknitter and I discovered Wool Candy together at Sock Summit and it was instant love!! I think we may have convinced Woolgirl to start carrying it too (crossing fingers!!)! ETA: Woolgirl just posted on her blog that Wool Candy arrives this Friday to her shop (so if you aren't local, now you have an online retailer!)

Oh, and these goodies. Well, I had to hang out at Purlescence and knit for a bit! And they just happened to be 40% off and I have a hat in mind for Snowboarder! Totally justified, right?! hehehe (oh goodness, the stash keeps growing.....)

And the shoe stash?! Yes, I just had to get these new Dansko shoes at Sock Summit (my first pair! and won't be my last!)! Don't they match my new sock just perfectly?! Socks that Rock in the colorway ST-1 in my new pattern (a sneak peek! it'll be out soon!!)!

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! Any new stash enhancements I should know about on your end?

Happy Knit from your Stash Week!!
xoxo Irishgirlieknits

p.s. Contest still open here!

You know. Now that you have the yarn for Snowboarder's hat, he'll want it ASAP. ;) But it'll be worth the wait, I'm sure. :D

Missed you all at Purlescence but soccer season means I'll be in town every weekend 'til Nov. Bad side is that Monkey1 has Sunday games. WTH soccer league!?!

Your feet are gonna thank you for those Danskos! Stashes are meant to grow if they're healthy, right?

Love, love, love that Sugared Violet colorway. May have to get my hands on some - the excuse would be that it's my birthday month. Thanks for showing off your new yummy yarn (and shoes)!

I love the Dansko's! But, as always, not for sale in the Netherlands. I can order them online but that is always a risk. My feet are quite wide and I also want to wear socks in it. Do I need to buy them a size bigger because of the socks and are they small or wide? Please let me know, I want them! :D

Lovely pinks btw!

Beautiful yarn! I have a question though. Are you buying socks to match the shoes or shoes to match the socks?? ;)

Pretty yarn! But where's your other foot? ;-)

I love the new pattern, and, oh yeah...might have seen you at a Plucky update this weekend! :) Ha ha! I scored some beauties too!
Dang Sarah, if she would only dye ugly yarn.....:)

You know, the next time I'm in your neck of the woods I totally have to go to your house and see the stash. I'm sure it is a sight to behold. Lovely new additions! The shoes are really cute too, and can't wait to see the new pattern! Cripes, you have to slow down. I still haven't gotten around to knitting Cotty yet.

Very pretty Wool Candy yarn! I'm a huge Dansko enthusiast -- I hope you love yours. My favorite Danskos ever are my Margretes, with my Marcelles coming in 2nd.

I'm so excited for Adrienne that Wool Candy is getting attention! I met her at Maker Fair this June at her very first show and picked up Robin's Egg & Cerises. They were so lovely I kept petting them as we walking the fairgrounds.

Can't wait to see the new pattern! Maybe I'll use some Wool Candy to knit it!

As always, I went a tad wild at the Plucky Update on Sunday. Love Plucky. And did some needle stash enhancing at the MN state fair this weekend. Finally got a set of the Blue Sky Alpaca Rosewood DPNs.

New yarn AND new shoes!? Whoohoooo!

ps. Made that pumpkin bread but in muffin form and the family is hooked. We had them fresh from the oven after school with a big glass of cold milk. I'm packing them in their backpacks for school tomorrow, too.
