World Wide Knit in Public Day

We had fabulous weather and a great turn out in Redwood City on Saturday for WWKIP.

WWKIP

I brought coconut cupcakes...yum yum.

Recipe here.

BMFA Charity blanket

We made some good progress on the BMFA Charity Blanket too!

BMFA Charity Blanket

Four people knitting on the same blanket at once. Perfect for KIP! Tricia took some great video so you can see what it looks like here.

Where did you all knit in public Saturday?

And a big happy happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!!!!

Looks like you had a great time! Saturday night a few of us went to a bar/lounge to knit among draft beers. Good times!

Ok now that is just freakin' COOL! I've heard about that but never seen it done. And of COURSE it's being done in STR. =)

The blanket is too cool. Are you donating it, or raffling it?

And the weather looks great there too - nice and sunny :0)

Well of course, the weather is always perfect in my home town! Did you get a massage after working together on the blanket? Hope so. Cute! Happy Fathers Day to your Pops!

Four people knitting on the same blanket at once? Now that takes some coordination!
