What a week....

I guess I thought things would slow down a bit now that its October. Who was I kidding? I can't believe its been a week since I've blogged, but then again, I guess I can. I'm writing this late Saturday night, a bit exhausted, but I think that's due to the cold I've been fighting since Thursday. Well, it could also be that this week has been crazy!

I was in Sacramento Friday for work, so I spent Thursday night in Sac at my best friend's house with her three fabulous kiddos! I couldn't resist posting this picture....those kiddos melt their Auntie Irishgirlie's heart!

yummy cupcake!

After work on Friday, I stopped by my brother's to visit Lil' Guy and help his mommy finish up a knitting project!

Beep! Beep!

Is he not the happiest boy ever??

So I drove back to the Bay Area Friday night, spent the night at my dad's, where I got lots of sleep and orange juice, and watched the Notre Dame football game today (sad, sad game...we lost).

Hmmm....all these kiddos..could that be why I'm exhausted :) But there has been knitting this week! Maybe not the most productive. Maybe ADHD knitting, but at least its knitting!!

Too many!
Embossed Leaves in the new MadelineTosh colorway Violin, Hedera in Mama Blue Troika colorway Bramble, and Monkeys in STR Rare Gems
Let's hope this next week slows down a bit (I doubt it, with Jury duty coming up on Tuesday, back in Sacramento for work on Wednesday, and maybe a trip to Reno next weekend, but a girl can hope, can't she?!)
Happy Weekend!!
xoxo Irishgirlieknits

Jury duty can be very quiet and slow.

Cute socks & cute children!

I caught the tail end of your game Sat 'cause NASCAR was right after and immediately though the Irishgirlie household was probably very quiet & sad at that moment.

Hopefully they'll let you knit on jury duty.

Gorgeous socks. I'm an ADHD knitter as well! If you're ever in the Sacramento area and need someone to go knit shop-hopping with, let me know! I'd love to enable you.
