A bit louder than a whisper, I've been hearing these things from a certain Snowboarder for the past month....
Madelinetosh Worsted, color Graphite, from Woolgirl (on sale this weekend too)
"I saw my yarn still in the basket. Does that mean you haven't started my hat yet?"
"I thought you said that hat only took you six hours or something."
"That's nice. Its not my hat, but its nice."
"Is that my hat you're working on? Oh."
Obviously, I caved. He still doesn't know it yet though.
Happy Knitting!

I love it! Is that Koolhaas?
Hehe...I looked for that colorway too, no dice. Nice hat for you-know-who ;)
HAHAHA!!! Subtle, huh?
What a Kool hat! And an even kooler surprise!
You spoil that boy rotten! I hope he appreciates it, and you. Looks like a lovely hat...
LOL! Snowboarder's funny. Not very subtle, but funny!
Looks great!
That MadTosh yarn is sooo yummy!
Snowboarder cracks me up! The hat is lovely!!
Happy almost Monday! :)
Beautiful stuff! Can't wait to see the whole thing.
ooh, i love a koolhaas.
hope he doesn't peek!
I just gotta say at least he's saying "hat" and not "sweater" in those sentences! Ha ha!
Heh. I swear, men are all alike. Whenever I start something new, the blub asks, "Is that for me?" Even if it's pink and very clearly a sweater for my niece or similar. The hat looks very pretty so far, love the yarn.
You gotta love him! Cool hat and some gorgeous Madtosh!
Well, he is subtle compared to how my kids ask me to make them stuff. ;)
So, in return, is he going to take you to the movies to see a certain vampire?...Unless you're going to see the movie during your trip.
Oooh, nice manly yarn. I wish I'd bought that issue of interweave. Heavens to Betsy!
Ummm...and a certain tapmouse says, 'Cast on that Hurdy Gurdy, IrishGirlie! PROVE to me you could not wait til Saturday!!!!'-lol! You know I heart you!
Great Hat and Great yarn. I love it. You'll be done in no time.
...just sayin... but you could have bought an extra hank of that yarn and put it in your knitting basket and held off just long enough to give it for Christmas.... tee hee... :)
I LOVE the colors in this yarn....
