Before I went to Sock Camp...

I must say spending a few days in Seattle before sock camp was fabulous. I've never been there and I just loved the city! Sunday we had a gorgeous day!

Another view from our room.

CheekyAttitude and Chariel joined Cupcakefaerie and I for the day!

We had a fabulous lunch!

We ventured to Hilltop Yarns, a perfectly lovely yarn store. Seriously loved it. I might have bought one little skein of HazelKnits sock yarn.

Loved their merchandising!

And Chariel had to test out the patio knitting!

Spring Forward meet Space Needle.
Then we walked down the very, very big hill to the Space Needle. I showed my spring forward sock to the Space Needle.

Then on Monday we began our journey to camp. First we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island.

It is gray and raining and sleeting and yuck here. So I'm cozied up by my computer with a warm cup of coffee truly enjoying your pictures. Those yarn shops look amazing. Someday . . . someday . . . I will join the merry sock camp crew...

Keep the pics comin'!!!

Okay...I was already jealous, but this is too much! A yarn AND tea store? Oooo, in my dreams. :-)

Sigh, I was just there and touched those same skeins of Plucky Knitter cashmere!

Looks like you're having a great time. (I love that the Seattle area has so many yarn shops!)

This has made me just a little bit homesick. I was there, doing that stuff, with my sister last summer! Sigh. Oh well, there are worse places than near Paris to be homesick in (smug, moi?).

Glad you're having fun in "my" town!

Yes, Sunday morning was glorious, especially after dreary Saturday! Unfortunately, I was headed home, not to sock camp.

Have a great time! Looks like you already are.
