I Heart Edward

Edward Cullen that is. I know some of you heart him too. How could one not? I just discovered his love this past weekend, as I was engulfed in Twilight. Shhhh!! Don't tell me too much, I'm moving on to New Moon tonight.

More Toasty

My other new love was the perfect compliment to reading. Mindless, easy knitting. But now I'm ready for something else. Maybe this? Or this? Or these? These would need to wait, as I'd definitely want them for me! These would be easy with my reading too. We'll see. For now, I better keep working on Dad's scarf.

Then tonight, after dinner, I have a date. With Edward. Sorry Snowboarder :)

Happy Knitting!

LOL! You gotta read the partial draft of Midnight Sun on Stephenie Meyer's site. it's Twilight from Edward's perspective and I loved what she wrote so far!

The book is sitting here on my desk waiting for me to finish my current book (Salems Lot - started it before Halloween and it's freaking me out).

Yeah, share your secret. How do you read AND knit. That could be a good blogpost - with demo pics.

I liked the first link best.

I love when you find a book you can't put down. I started The Kite Runner when I got to the gym this morning. I had done 30 mins on the bike before I knew it, then 68 mins on the treadmill. Reading books is good for you on SO many levels. Happy reading.

What is the Rockin' Barn Sale like? Is the yarn sold really cheap?

I'm such an Edward Cullen fan it's ridiculous! MY sister and I bought our movie tickets for Friday's premier already - I'm taking the day off for movie, dinner and shopping - it's a Twilight Night - I'm an addict - can't wait to hear what you think as you continue on!

LOVE the Stulpen! Lots of nice choices there. I still need to finish 1 1/4 pair I started last year for my quilting teacher! Hmmm...guess I'd better get my a-- in gear since we have our big holiday party on December 9!

Ooooooh!!! I just finished the entire series last week. My daughter read it and then insisted that I do too. We both loved it!! and we love Edward too. Can't wait for the next book from Stephanie.

My eldest daughter has read the series and is reading them again. She now has her younger sister reading them too. She is anxiously awaiting the release of the movie Friday, and winning free tickets at the book store movie release party makes it all the more sweet for her.

Mindless knitting is the way to go while reading

The Genmaicha pattern looks fab, am I understanding this right? You knit while you read? Wow! I do manage to have the TV on, but am happy to have the tivo as sometimes I do get wrapped up in my knitting and have to go back to see what I missed. I do get some reading time in, but not as much as I would like as I have to read all day at work and my eyes do get tired at night.
