Got Soup?

Its been one of those weeks. Actually, just a couple of days, but it feels like a week. I'll be glad when this work week is done. One more day.

The only project I've touched since late Tuesday night was this.

I knit just two rows Tuesday night. Three or four last night. A few more tonight.

And when I read this post last night, I understood why. As Sam said, garter stitch is chicken noodle soup. Well, garter stitch + socks that rock heavyweight = chicken noodle soup for me. Maybe its chicken with stars...hehehe

Picking up my Tickled Pink Blanket that Rocks! after quite a few months just felt good. Tomorrow has got to be better!

Happy almost Friday!

Mmmmm, garter stitch! So comforting.

Your Ravelry project page says Moderne, but it's looking like a Log Cabin. Yes? Great colors!

Love to you, I'm having a similar week, knitting one or two rows a night. Here's hoping for a great knitting weekend for the both of us!

Oh man, it's been a while since we've seen that. But yes, those big boring garter stitch projects are quite soothing.

You know I love the garter stitch :0)

Sorry you're having a crappy week. There's always tomorrow.....

I understand! That is why I always have a felted bag knit in the round on the needles. Easy, mindless, and I only have to look at what I am doing once in awhile. And, guess what . . . it is FRIDAY!!! :)

TGIF!

And I know you're going to have a wonderful weekend too. ;)

Love your blankie! One of these days I'll cast on one for that comfort factor too.

It's friday!!!!!!! Thank goodness. Garter stitch is great when you're drained.

Oh, that looks so squishy and lovely that I just want to crawl inside right underneath where the needles are and watch as the knit knit knit stitches happen over my head.

I guess I've had a week too.

Hope your weekend makes you feel better!

Im in the Garter group on Ravelry. I love me some garter stitch. Soothing, I say. Im working on a hat with a garter brim. YOUR garter is lovely in that weight.

I know exactly what you mean. Yesterday was a rotten no good terrible day so I knit 2 washcloths while hanging out with friends. Felt better so fast!!!

I should definitely shift my focus from garter stitch being a slog to the chicken soup theory. Much more pleasant!
