A Me Day

I took a me day today. It involved...

1) Sleeping in.

2) Taking a long walk with the doggies.

They were tired afterwards.

3) Trying a recipe from my new cookbook.

It was the Chicken Casserole recipe and it was delicious. Leftovers for tomorrow too!

4) Casting on a new sock. I'm blaming her for this. hehehe

Oooh, I think everyone should have a Me Day every once in a while. And your doggies... oh, those big, big eyes! They are just sooooo adorable, I want to come over and snuggle them.

I cannot believe I haven't seen or heard of this book until your post. At last count, I had over 120 cookbooks--I'm not kidding--and this one looks like a winner. Love the socks, too. Me Days should be mandatory. Good for you!

Such cute pups! BTW, that cookbook is fabulous. Delicious recipes, charming stories, neat organization by color. My only gripe is that the text is dark grey and hard to read!

Don't you love "me" days? I had a "me" day yesterday, but that's because it was 12 below Zero (26 below with windchill)! Glad I didn't have to leave the house. Gorgeous sock colors again!

I guess you could say I'm having a 'me' day tomorrow. Working all day in my new LYS :0)

Yay you for taking time for yourself, esp. after having a crappy week. Well done for eating healthy food and walking the doggies(both things that make you feel good) and for indulging yourself in a new sock :0) That blog is beautiful!!!
