Happy Memorial Day!

I take it back. I am a Monday person if that Monday happens to be a holiday! Hope you all are enjoying your holiday weekend!!

(Beware...more Rockin' Sock Club spoiler pics!)

Here's my to-do list for today (remember, I make to-do lists for fun stuff too. I guess its my joy for the day!).

1. Try not to eat all of this.

My creation

Raspberry Buttermilk Cake
. Cupcakefaerie and I must be on the same food wavelength lately. I too saw it over on Smitten Kitchen and thought...yummy! And its delicious!

2. Figure out what classes I want to take at Sock Summit. Registration is tomorrow! I'm hoping there will still be a few left at 11am when I get out of my work meeting! So excited!!!

3. Pay bills. Put away laundry. Balance checkbook. Edit one or two work reports. Hurry up and get to #4, it is a holiday afterall!

4. Watch this.

5. Knit the second one of these.

I'm tickled with this month's kit!! Just heart it sooooooooo!

6. Grill up all the veggies that I got at the farmer's market this weekend and cook dinner for Snowboarder! Plus, I'll have healthy and delicious food leftovers for this crazy work week ahead!

What's on your list for the day?!

Happy Memorial Day!

I can't believe how fast you knit that sock! It looks great.

My plan for the day: just chill. My in-laws just left; we had a great weekend!

I have my sock summit registration strategy down. Ready!

Ooooh this is so unfair! I Only wanted to do some night-time-blog-reading, and then ignore my emty stomach in order to get as much sleep as possible because it's so late. Now I can't anymore - this looks incredibly yummy!

BTW, love your wool pictures! And the colours of the latest pair of socks are great. And I have to stop myself now... have to go & find something to eat....

That cake wouldn't last a day in my presence, I hate to admit. Your sock looks amazing! I might just have to bump it's priority on my list. Unfortunately, my to-do list for the rest of the evening consists mainly of boring tasks like cleaning out the car, cleaning the cat box (ughhh) and preparing to head up to NJ tomorrow. I imagine I'll find a way to squeeze some knitting in there, too.

That cake looks delicious!
Today I did a little laundry, worked on Liesl and squeezed in one last nap before the week ahead!

You must be a supersonic knitter - that was SO fast, but I know if there is something I love (knitting or a good book), there is no interrupting me.
The sock is lovely. Enjoy it!

Mmmmmm. Yum.

I hope you get your classes! I just looked at the list (wistfully - I will not be attending). Bavarian socks sounds interesting. Good luck! (you'll bring your camera, right? And your computer, right? We're depending on you!)

Really love the socks. I love the kit too. It's so great to see it knit up; excellent job.

Good luck with Sock Summit registration.

I was at work. It was like a ghost town here, but at least I got some shit done.

Love the sock! I am jealous.

You knit that May RSC sock up sooooo fast. I'm jealous! I'm almost done and all I kept thinking was, I want to finish these before Momoftwins or Irishgirlknits...no chance...maybe once before the end of this year!!!! They look beautiful!

I spent Monday watching useless TV on the couch. And felt like such a blob the next day! I'm all for downtime, but it was a but too much laziness, my body had to readjust afterwards! :P

I think I need to make lists-I'd probably get more done! Instead, it's been reactionary go,go, go for me lately! That buttermilk raspberry cake looks awesome! May need to make that one. Been hooked on a Raspberry Jam-filled muffin recipe from Eating Well lately-your healthy cookies inspired me!
