YPF! The Pumpkin Edition

Better late than never. I figured it was worth the wait to capture this gorgeous yarn in the morning sun this morning.

Pumpkin Spice

If this doesn't make you crave pumpkin bread, or pumpkin pie, or pumpkin spice cake, well I don't know what will.

Pumpkin Spice

I'm not an orange girl by any means (those orange cable socks from a previous post are definately for Rowan). I don't own one piece of orange clothing I think. But oh. This yarn. Yummy. Love love love.

And since this is "The Pumpkin Edition" I just couldn't resist this picture that my SIL aka Little Guy's mom sent me earlier this week!

Pumpkin Patch

Little Guy's first trip to the pumpkin patch! And he's even wearing his pumpkin hat that Auntie Irishgirlie made for him. Wish we lived just a bit closer so that I could go to things like that with him, but you have to love his mommy who dresses him so cute, hat and all, and takes the cute pictures, AND sends them to me!

Back to my socks (got to get knitting if I'm going to finish these by the end of Socktoberfest!). Oh, speaking of socks. I've updated my destash flickr set to prepare for my upcoming visit to my friend Christy in Portland (oh, and my visit just happens to coincide with the BMFA Destashing Sale!!). Email me if you see anything that you're interested in (stuff that's been there awhile I marked down a bit, but would be willing to deal to get rid of it!). Email irishgirlieknits AT gmail DOT com

Happy Weekend!!
xoxo Irishgirlieknits

It's really a toss up as to which made me squeal louder--that gorgeous yarn or that cute lil punkin head!

That is so cute and autumnal! I'm feeling autumnal urges myself... they usually manifest themselves in lots of baking. I already made pancakes for breakfast, but that hasn't quite satisfied the urge. Must bake and knit.

Great autumnal colorway! And Little Guy is cute as always, especially rockin' that pumpkin hat at the patch.

OMG! You are going to the destash sale! I'm alternating between excitement and envy for you. I am so totally tempted to go too, but DH & I are figuring out how I can do Sock Camp instead.

Ooh, I love your fall yarn. . . would totally make me want pumpkin pie if I hadn't already requested banana cream pie as my birthday dessert! And I'm in love with one of your destash yarns. . . but I really don't need yarn, but Thursday is my birthday. . . so maybe if it's still there Thursday, it will become mine!

I'm so absolutely jealous that you will be going to the destash sale! But then again, I would be miserable if I were there as I'd either be 1)po'd that I couldn't buy anything (budget) or 2) feeling guilty for buying so much! Most likely, the latter!-lol!

Have fun!

And I absolutely adore that pumpkin spice colored yarn!!! And Little Guy is Little LUCKY Guy to have so many gorgeously cute hats from his Auntie IrishGirlie!
