No joking, I saw one of those eagles (well not one of those two specific eages, but same 'breed') standing in the road near my house just a couple of weeks ago.
I've also seen them in the mall that's close to my house - not 'in' the mall, but on the edges of the carparks.
Apparently, we have quite a few nests here in SWFL!
Of course, we are sorely lacking in totem poles ;0)
Ooh! Oooh! And GREAT pictures, too. We have them here, they hang out at the pier at work. I've only seen one once, but they supposedly have a nest nearby. SO COOL.
That is lovely! Eagles perched on a totem pole. You don't see that kind of thing in our ne... well, it's more of a lack of the woods in eastern Mass, really.
