Fall in Love Fridays: Sunkissed Sands

Not quite sunkissed
The shores of Port Ludlow were not quite sunkissed when we were there.

Sunkissed Sands

But I still couldn't resist purchasing these 2 skeins of BMFA LSS in Sunkissed Sands as my final sock camp purchase.

Gorgeous color! I just scored 2 hanks of the LSS in Star Sapphire - that stuff is AWESOME. Any plans on what you are doing with yours yet?

I think that's my new favorite colorway. That was a great last purchase before the long drought season. Yay, for two weeks! Stay strong.

Excellent photos too!

Are you being honest with us?

Love the soft colored yarn and the beach pictures.

Such pretty yarn!

And your post brought back memories of being forced to wake up at 6:30 a.m. to meet on the beach in the rain and cold for my 7:45 a.m. Biology 101 lab in college--we used to touch the anenomes with our pencils to watch them contract when we got bored counting ducks in the ocean. YAWN!

Oh WOW! That colorway wasn't my taste in the STR, but it is absolutely GORGEOUS in the LSS!

Both the yarn and the photos are gorgeous! I've already ordered some of that colorway in STR but I think I may have slip in some LSS sometime soon. And the beach....ahhh, I love it up there. I really must make it to sock camp sometime.

Gold star for you!

I haven't bought any since camp either, but it's only one week until I'm at the Loopy Ewe. I'll just be happy if I don't have to buy and extra suitcase!

Heh, that explains why you didn't buy the LSS Beached & handed it off to me.
